1/2 lb extra
lean ground beef
1 can kidney beans; drained (save the liquid)
1/3 can bean liquid
1 can tomato puree
1 tsp instant minced onion
1 1/2 tsp chili powder
Cook beef in
hot fry pan until lightly browned. Drain off fat.
Stir in remaining
ingredients. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat,
cover and simmer for 10 minutes. This will make 4 servings of about
3/4 cup each.
