1 1/2 lb ground
beef
1 cup soft bread crumbs
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 egg; slightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp oregano
1 small can tomato sauce
3 slices mozzarella cheese
Heat oven to
350F. Combine all ingredients except tomato sauce and
Mozzarella cheese and mix lightly. In a 10x6 inch loaf pan, shape
the loaf.
Bake 1 1/2 to
2 hours. Drain excess fat. Pour tomato sauce over loaf during last
1/2 hour of baking time.
Place Mozzarella
cheese on top. Bake 5 to 10 minutes.
