Apple Meatloaf

1 lb lean ground beef
1/8 tsp pepper
1 apple; cored and chopped
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 medium onion; chopped
1 or 2 slices of bread

Preheat oven to 350F. Combine all ingredients except the bread. Soak bread in cold water, squeeze out moisture, shred, and add. Place in loaf pan and bake 25-30 minutes. Or form into patties, roll in bread crumbs and pan fry, or broil.
